Full Text Functional evaluation of doxorubicin decorated polymeric liposomal curcumin: a surface tailored therapeutic platform for combination chemotherapy (Electronic supplementary information (ESI) available: CUR quantification through lysing the liposomal surface with 1% Triton X-100, TEM images of liposomes, and surface profile analysis of individual liposomes in the scanning area of 2 × 2 μm2. Hydrodynamic size distribution of liposomes, PSS@lipo-cur, and DOX–PSS@lipo-cur. Zeta potential values of nanoformulations. Stability of the Dox–PSS@lipo-cur nanoformulation by the hydrodynamic size distribution in different condition such as DPBS, and the cell culture medium without FBS and with FBS. Digital photographic images of the Dox–PSS@lipo-cur nanoformulation in DPBS, the cell culture medium without FBS, and the cell culture medium with FBS. Stability analysis by UV-visible spectral analysis in different condition such as DPBS, the cell culture medium without FBS, and the cell culture medium with FBS. The cumulative drug release experiments of nanoformulations (CUR and DOX) in acidic pH: 5, and physiological pH: 7.4. SEM micrographs of RBCs at various concentrations of DOX.
